Bring some everlasting color to your home! Join us on April 15 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a creative evening dedicated to the "colorful, pretty, and diverse" world of floral art.
As the original inspiration suggests, flowers offer a "peaceful escape from the complexities of everyday life" and a chance to explore endless varieties of shapes and hues. Whether you are a fan of hydrangeas, lilacs, or wild poppies, this session is designed to let your creativity flourish. We will be replicating a lush, textured bouquet that captures the energy of a garden in full bloom.
In this three-hour session, you will move beyond basic petals to learn these professional painting techniques:
Pointillism & Textural Dabbing: You will learn how to use a dabbing motion to build clusters of petals, creating that rich, "fluffy" look seen in hydrangeas and lilacs.
Layering for Depth: We will explore how to layer different shades of pink, purple, and white to make your bouquet look voluminous and three-dimensional rather than flat.
Foliage "Swoosh" Technique: You’ll practice long, fluid brushstrokes to create the elegant, tapering green leaves that frame the base of the arrangement.
